Charlotte needs to get out more … or less. Returning from a successful, but harrowing year teaching in Seoul, South Korea, she was detained by Customs for having the temerity to vacation in Thailand. A short, blizzard filled visit home later, she went to Chile to teach. She realized she was working for a fourth class con man shortly before her tourist visa expired and fled the country before she was deported. On the trip home, she got to spend six glorious hours in the Bogota, Columbia airport sitting on the hardest chairs known to man while being watched by military personnel wielding machine guns.
Arriving home in Ohio with her husband, she immediately went online and opened her big mouth on a forum, telling Renee Rocco she had a story that fit Lyrical Press’s new guidelines. Charlotte then discovered Renee was the publisher of Lyrical Press.
So it doesn’t really matter if Charlotte stays home or goes out. Trouble follows her, precedes her and sometimes hangs out with her in case there’s an opening. It usually becomes funny very quickly.
She likes to torture characters, but not animals, eat almost anything chocolate and travel, though travel does not like her.
